Adult Prayer Group

What is adult prayer group?

Adult prayer group is where we gather together regularly to pray for our nation, our Church, our families, our community, our leaders, and one another.

When do we meet?

We meet on Wednesday Nights from 6:30-8:00pm all throughout the year in room 106.

“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 4:4-7

Why Pray?

Prayer is our chance to participate in what God is already doing and it also allows us to grow in our dependence on Him. It is our chance to see the power of God actively at work in our lives as we learn to align our will with His. It teaches us to put God in His rightful place and He desires us to come to Him with all of our cares, worries, needs, desires, and requests.

FAQ
What if I don't know how to pray?

That’s okay! We are all about helping you learn and grow through it all. We will come alongside of you and teach you at your own pace. You do not have to pray out loud if you are uncomfortable, we are just glad you are there!

How do I join?

You can just show up to Ridgewood Bible Church on a Wednesday night and we would be happy to have you join! We meet in room 106 at 6pm, all are welcome.

Do I have to share and pray at the meeting?

You do not have to share any requests or pray for the group if you are not comfortable yet. This is a place to learn, observe, and participate whenever you are ready!
